Geos Laboratories is a strongly growing and ambitious SME active in the testing of building materials. Accredited throughout Europe, we work for our international customers from our headquarters in Wellen (Limburg) and branches in Liège and Lyon (France). To support our growth, we are looking for an enterprising Business Controller.
The tasks & responsibilities as a Business Controller
- Be responsible for monthly closings, preparation of management reports and reporting to the CEO
- Managing the accounting and credit control
- Develop and monitor financial and operational KPIs
- Prepare the budget together with the CEO and management
- Ad hoc investment analyses and cost price analyses
- Make the link between operational processes and financial reporting
- Analysis and assistance of potential acquisition targets and financial follow-up of projects
The suitable candidate for the role
- 4 years of experience within finance – experience in audit is a pluss
- IT minded
- Has good knowledge of French en English; German and Dutch is a plus
- Is willing to travel for projects
- Shows entrepreneurship
- Thinks along with the business by nature
- Is analytically strong and can work autonomously on optimizations to improve the performance of the financial department
- Has strong communication skills
- Can and dares to take on responsibilities in a fast growing company
